A BRIEF OVERVIEW
HISTORY
WPM is a fourth-generation, family-owned company with a history of dedication to getting the job done right, ahead of schedule. WPM was founded in 1978 by William H. Leoni. It was a natural extension of a family that has been in the Civil Construction Industry for 100 years. It began with Charles J. Rogers, an Irish immigrant, who established CJ Rogers in 1920, after serving with the 106th Engineers in World War I. CJ Rogers went on to complete numerous projects that would shape the city of Detroit, MI, including Cobo Hall, Chrysler Freeway, the Detroit / Canada underground tunnel, and Chrysler Headquarters, as well as many other monumental projects around the nation.
In 1978, William H. Leoni started WPM, Inc. which has since grown into the WPM Family of Companies. Today, the Leoni’s, along with a core of personnel that have been with the company since its conception, provide and manage a full line of site construction and services.
